The LV Review Journal’s Readers Have Named Freed’s ‘Best Bakery’ for 2008 LAS VEGAS, Nevada, March 24, 2008 – The Las Vegas Review Journal has announced its Staff and Readers’ Best of Las Vegas picks for 2008. For as long as the Las Vegas Review Journal has been naming its winners, Freed’s Bakery has won the ‘Best Bakery’ category. We are honored to be serving the Las Vegas area and want to thank our customers for their continued support.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal: “Freed's has been the readers' choice in this category for about as long as there has been a Best of Las Vegas, not only because of the old-time goodness of its cakes and pastries — such as the fruitcake at Christmas time that's actually good — but also because the bakery has been canny enough to keep up with the times.
