LAS VEGAS, Nevada, November 4, 2008 – Yesterday organizers threw a golf invitational at TPC Summerlin to benefit ALS TDI, the world's largest ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) research center. The invitation was a success and Freed's Bakery is proud to have played a small role.
A full sheet of chocolate cake with Bavarian cream filling was provided for the participants and Freed's Bakery's own Daniela Freed volunteered to help run the event. According to organizer Vanessa Plant, over $27,000 was raised for ALS TDI, making the day a huge success. If you are interested in donating toward a cure, please refer to ALS TDI's website: www.als.net.
