LAS VEGAS, Nevada, October 30, 2008 – With Thanksgiving approaching, Freed's Bakery invites you to give back to our community by joining us in our non-perishable canned food drive. For the month of November, both of our locations will be collecting non-perishable canned food and dry goods to benefit Three Square, a local food bank.
As a thanks to our customers for participating, we are offering Sweet Rewards on cookies all month long and a chance to win 20 different Freed's Bakery prizes, including a $200 gift certificate! To participate:
Bring in at least three cans of non-perishable food or dry good items and get cookies for $8.95 a pound. That's a savings of $5.00 a pound! Buy as many pounds of cookies as you like at this great price when you bring in at least 3 cans.
For every can of food you bring in, receive a raffle ticket to enter our drawing for 20 different delicious Freed's Bakery prizes. There is no minimum or maximum number of cans to enter the raffle.
Raffle prizes include:

Customers can come in and donate as often as they’d like!
We cannot accept homemade canned or homemade goods. Food must be in original packaging with proper labels for distribution. No perishables please (i.e. potatoes, bread, and meat). Items that are in high demand include:
Meat and High Protein Group Canned meat, canned tuna, canned ham, canned salmon, canned stew, canned spam, macaroni and cheese, canned soups, peanut butter, rice, beans
Personal Hygiene Products Toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, bar soap, deodorant, shaving products
Baby Products Diapers, baby wipes
Paper and Cleaning Products Toilet paper, paper towels, plastic storage bags, i.e. baggies/Ziploc bags

Three Square is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people, while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community.
