Freed's Bakery's Cupcake Drive Raises Over $8,000 for Homeless Children

LAS VEGAS, Nevada, July 3rd, 2011 - Over the 4th of July Weekend Freed's Bakery, along with the Las Vegas Community, raised over $8,000 for Whitney Elementary School by contributing 100% of the sales of over 3,000 cupcakes. Nearly 85% of students at Whitney Elementary School are homeless, approximately 518 out of 610. The donation will go towards feeding over 300 children for the next 6 months. Freed's Bakery thanks the Community for all the support.
Freed’s Bakery is celebrating their 52nd
anniversary serving Las Vegas, and has been featured on such shows as
