LAS VEGAS, Nevada, October 18, 2008 – Last night Seth MacFarlane, creator of the animated series ‘The Family Guy,’ turned 35 with 25 of his close friends and coworkers.  The party was hosted by TAO at the Venetian Hotel and Casino.  Mr. MacFarlane and Alex Borstein treated guests to a live performance of an upcoming episode of ‘The Family Guy,’ providing the voices to Peter and Lois Griffin, among others.

Freed’s Bakery created a special dessert for the talent behind this animated series.  We began with a half sheet of our moist white cake, filled it with our famous Bavarian cream, and topped it off with a blend of our Rose and Buttercream icings.  An edible image of the Griffin family was placed on top of the cake, along with birthday wishes for Mr. MacFarlane.  Elegant scroll work on the sides of the cake completed the creation.
