LAS VEGAS, Nevada, May 31, 2009 – DJ Franzen, one of Las Vegas' #1 DJs, celebrated his birthday last night at Poetry Nightclub with a delicious custom cake from Freed's Bakery. The cake was crafted after a DJ Turntable created exclusively for DJ Franzen, described the next day by DJ Franzen on Hot 97.5 as, "the best cake ever."

Freed’s Bakery is celebrating their 50th anniversary serving Las Vegas, and has been featured on such shows as The Food Network’s “Roker on the Road,” “$40 a Day with Rachael Ray,” “Sugar Rush,” and “After Midnight.”  Freed’s has also been featured on Lifetime’s “Top This Party,” Hawaiian Airlines’ “The Best of Las Vegas,” and “Las Vegas Live.”  Freed’s has been featured in Bon Appétit, Martha Stewart Weddings, People’s Amazing Real Life Weddings, and Conde Nast Traveler.  Freed’s has been voted Best of Las Vegas by the Las Vegas Review Journal’s Reader’s Choice for the last 28 years, and has been recognized by AOL City’s Best and The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2008 & 2009.
