There are those who feel that there is nothing quite like the luck associated with the number 7, and that is even more true when there is not only one seven, but three! And nowhere is this more true than in fabulous Las Vegas, THE home for gambling, and, for almost half a century, to Freed's Bakery.

The year 2007 will contain an almost magical date, July 7, 2007, which translates to 7-7-7. Freed's has been making incredible numbers of cakes for their customers each year since 2000, because of special dates, since each of these years has had that alignment of dates that result in numbers going 3 across, January 1, 2001 (1-1-1), February 2, 2002 (2-2-2), for example, and folks have been anxious to be married on those dates. But the alignment of 3 sevens has an amazing draw, especially in Sin City. Freed's has been expecting a deluge of orders for wedding cakes and party cakes for that magical date. The Las Vegas Review Journal, where Freed's has been voted the Best of Las Vegas Bakery for so many years now that we're practically in the Best of Las Vegas Hall of Fame, recognized the significance of the 7-7-7 date, and asked Freed's to come up with the quintessential Wedding Cake for the cover of their Living section on January 30, 2007, which highlighted the upcoming celebrations.
