1959
Milton and Esther Freed opened a snack bar at Panorama Market in Las Vegas. They sold a few baked goods at their bakery including donuts and danish. The demand for the danish and donuts was huge so they started to add a few other items to sell at their snack bar. Within a few months they had a full fledge bakery besides the snack bar. They purchased baked goods from other bakeries and sold them in their bakery.
1960 - 1967
Within one year they opened a production plant and another 1-2 outlets. Within another year they had two production plants and another 4-5 outlets. So, by 1965 they had two production plants and 7 outlets.
1968
The Freed's sold all of the production plants and outlets and opened one bakery inside of the Boulevard Market at the Boulevard Mall. The Boulevard Market was a beautiful modern independently operated market. The Freed's operated this bakery until 1980.
