A group of us were vacationing in Las Vegas and came to
your bakery because of the article in Bon Appetit. I wanted to write to
let you know how much we enjoyed your food. We were able to make only
two trips, but sampled as much as we could. We felt very fortunate to
have been there on Thursday to have the pumpernickle bread with raisins
and the poppyseed strudel. When we were there on Friday, we got a box
to have on Saturday, with extra to have back here in Sarasota on
Sunday. Ann gave us plastic bags with twist-ties to keep things fresh,
but the pastries didn't even make it to the airport.
Needless to
say, Freed's was one of the highlights of the trip. Have you ever
thought of opening a branch in Florida? All six of us our looking
forward to our return to Las Vegas and Freed's.
